Meghalaya, India – The Northeast Ashirvad Foundation hosted an International Symposium at the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya, centered on the theme “Breaking Borders with Culture, Literature, Tourism, and Education: Advancing Global Fraternity.”

The event brought together researchers and scholars from Bangladesh, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Indonesia, Assam, and Mizoram, creating a diverse platform for academic and cultural exchange.
A key highlight of the symposium was the keynote presentation by Mr. Denzome Sampang, President of the Svikarokti Foundation, who traveled from the USA to present the Svikarokti Philosophy. His address emphasized acceptance, inclusivity, and the power of education as tools to unite communities across borders. He highlighted how Svikarokti, meaning acceptance, can serve as a guiding principle for advancing fraternity in an increasingly divided world.

By framing acceptance as both a cultural value and an educational approach, Mr. Sampang demonstrated how the Svikarokti Philosophy can inspire collaboration, bridge differences, and promote harmony among nations.
The symposium concluded with a renewed commitment to advancing global fraternity, where ideas such as Svikarokti can play a pivotal role in building connections through culture, literature, tourism, and education.
