The world we live in is more precarious than it has ever been. Geopolitically, environmentally, or technologically, every sphere of society is infected with fragility today. We have seen tensions boil over in a matter of days. Witnessed Governments lose power overnight. Look at a very recent example of Gen-Z strength in Nepal that happened in September, 2025. Nepalese citizens were able to overturn their Government because of digital expression. This sequence of events has been analyzed by Sumina Suwal at the Harvard T. H. Chan. Things we say or write; it can be propagated faster and farther than we realize. These days it is less about speaking truth to power and more about speaking wisely, and sometimes not at all. The world is so fragile now that those who can adapt to survive and thrive are no longer just the ones bold enough to do what’s right. It has become strictly those who know how to apply their awareness. Allow me to introduce you to the philosophy of Svikarokti.

Whether you like it or not, we now exist within a hyper visible world. Our lives are being watched not only by governments and institutions but by social media platforms, online communities, and strangers we will never meet. Practically anything we say, post, share, like, comment on, or disagree with on the internet rarely goes away. Someone screenshots it. It got stored somewhere on a server, where it will most likely resurface in time. We’ve all seen James Gunn’s old Twitter sucked up from 2018. His old tweets were dug up, taken out of context, and he was fired from his movie, though he was later rehired. The point here is that he had to face a problem despite the fact that he hadn’t done wrong.  Gunn later spoke with The Hollywood Reporter and publicly shared his experience about the same. In this day and age, it has become easier than ever to express yourself but expressing yourself is no longer as free of consequences as it once was. Now, it’s so precarious that one must learn how to navigate expression with the utmost care and caution.

Social media culture has bred society into a way that consistently having a social media presence and expressing yourself has become second nature for most of us. We’ve grown accustomed to posting, expecting instant reaction from our peers without considering the long-term complexities of the issues we put out into the world. We cannot deny how far modern expression and culture has exposed us. These days it feels like nothing is sacred. Or private. Would you agree with me if I said this is one of the largest problems we currently face?

Our visibility has increased at exponentially larger rates than our awareness. The lack of understanding that exists between expression and awareness is now the foundation of a lot of personal, societal, and political issues. Researchers at MIT conducted a study that shows “false and emotion-inducing content travels further, faster” (Vosoughi, Roy, Aral 2018) On social media.

If you’re reading this you are probably well informed about the world we live in. But even with all the information we are bombarded with day to day, we lose a lot of our moral ethics and teachings that were once considered essential to our lives because we get caught up in the lure of modern day vanity. It is ironic how the world we live in has programmed us to believe that if you aren’t expressing yourself you simply know nothing about a subject. We have forgotten the art of allowing silence to permeate long enough to respond, more intelligently and appropriately.

When you live in a world where everything you say and do can be saved. Recorded. There is no such thing as a harmless statement. Words are no longer neutral, especially when they are spoken into the universe. Everything we say or do is reactive. The second you critique someone else’s art, you are exposing yourself to criticism. The second you take a stance on something political, you’re allowing yourself to be identified and stored in a file with all the other liberals or conservatives. You become reactive. Vulnerable to what others may say or do about your actions.

With so many different outlets and platforms to be seen on these days, visibility has become easier. But going visible these days comes with the risk of becoming invisible just as quickly. When you’re exposed, it’s vital to understand that the things you put out into the world may be used against you later if they’re not guided by a certain level of protection. Social media platforms allow you to be seen. They reward you for being visible with little hearts and candy colored emojis. But what happens when you call out? What happens when the thing you expressed yourself about comes back around and bites you?

We have the right to say what we want how we want, but when we say these things without understanding the power of context; the power dynamics at play, the long-term consequences of our reaction can become dangerous.

Svikarokti invites us to recognize before we react. Svikarokti requires us to recognize the truth of a situation while being wisely aware of our internal state. It allows us to stay aligned with the matter at hand while understanding what, why, when, where, and how we want to approach the issue.

The world may tell you to stay loud, but Sikarokti will teach you how to pay attention to the noise. Svikarokti doesn’t just allow you to speak on things; it allows you to speak about things without worry. Svikarokti encourages you to take your personal awareness and align it with your external actions. Whether you realize it or not, how you choose to be seen is the new debate. Svikarokti will allow you to express yourself and be seen without the fear of staying hidden. Svakiarokti will guide you through your inner awareness in a world full of distractions that opens the door and allows you to be you, and lets truth prevail and allows peace, prosperity, love, and kindness to flourish.
