Svikarokti Interaction and Literary Discourse at North Bengal University

On 21st September 2013, North Bengal University, India became the stage for an inspiring program titled “स्वीकारोक्ति विषयक अन्तरक्रिया तथा साहित्यिक विमर्श” (Svikarokti Interaction and Literary Discourse). The event, organized by the Hill Student Association, centered on the philosophical theme of “अस्तित्वहरुको न्यायिक सम्बोधन”—the judicial recognition of existence.

The program brought together a diverse group of intellectuals, including PhD scholars and Masters students, all eager to engage with the emerging philosophy of Svikarokti.

The keynote address was delivered by Denzome Sampang, the promulgator and founder of the Svikarokti philosophy, who was accompanied by mentor Susan Majhi. Sampang’s speech introduced the audience to the essence of Svikarokti, emphasizing its relevance as a pathway toward peace, equity, and the recognition of every existence. His ideas sparked lively dialogue, resonating strongly with the young academic audience.

The event was graced by distinguished guests. The chief guest, Prof. Bashudev Pulami, acknowledged the importance of bringing new philosophies like Svikarokti into academic circles and encouraged further scholarly debate. Dr. Yogesh Pantha, present as a special guest, added his reflections on the intellectual richness of the discourse.

The successful realization of the program was made possible by the committed efforts of individuals like Mahesh Dahal, who played an influential role in ensuring the event came together smoothly. His contribution highlighted the importance of collective effort in nurturing such academic and philosophical gatherings.
