On July 30, 2022, the Grand International Creative Ceremony (GICC–V 2022) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, hosted a thought-provoking one-hour session on environmental preservation and the philosophy of Svikarokti. The discussion brought together distinguished voices in literature, leadership, and philosophy to reflect on urgent environmental challenges and pathways to sustainable living.

A Panel of Global Thinkers

The session was moderated by Pradeep Thanpa Pariyar, a respected senior journalist from New Jersey, USA. On the panel sat some of the most influential minds across continents:

  • Dr. Govindaraj Bhattarai (Nepal), renowned scholar and writer known for his works in environmental literature.
  • Bryan Hitan (London), a dedicated environmental litterateur with a global perspective on eco-writing.
  • Pawan Chamling (India), former Chief Minister of Sikkim, celebrated both as a literary figure and for his remarkable initiatives in environmental preservation during his leadership.
  • Denzome Sampang (USA), President of the Svikarokti Foundation and the promulgator of the Svikarokti philosophy, who spoke about acceptance, responsibility, and collective action as the foundation for healing both society and the planet.

The Heart of the Dialogue: Saving the Earth

The conversation revolved around how literature, leadership, and philosophy can inspire environmental consciousness. Each panelist highlighted the urgency of ecological balance, the role of cultural responsibility, and the moral duty of humanity to safeguard the Earth for future generations.

Svikarokti’s philosophy of judicial and equitable acceptance was emphasized as a guiding principle. As Denzome Sampang shared, true sustainability begins with a mindset shift, recognizing the intrinsic worth of all existences and embracing accountability for the natural world.

A Call from Harrisburg to the World

What made the session memorable was the blend of voices: leaders, writers, and thinkers from South Asia and beyond—coming together in the United States to emphasize one universal truth: saving the Earth is not a regional concern but a collective human responsibility.

The Harrisburg gathering underscored that when philosophy, literature, and governance meet, they can spark movements that transcend borders. The Svikarokti Foundation, through such initiatives, continues to amplify this message, encouraging individuals and communities to take mindful, equitable steps for a greener and more harmonious future.
