On October 6, 2013, the Global Bhutanese Literary Organization (GBLO) organized a Svikarokti workshop at Greenvale Academy in Beldangi I, Damak, Jhapa, Nepal. The event was hosted by the academy with the support of Principal S. K. Subba and Vice Principal Lakjit Rai, who warmly welcomed the initiative.
The workshop was facilitated by Denzome Sampang, promulgator of Svikarokti, together with his mentor team: Patalo Antare, Chatra Dangal, Badal Thapa, and Susan Majhi. The facilitators guided the teachers through the philosophy of Svikarokti, focusing on acceptance, peace, and positive transformation as practical values for education and personal well-being.

Teachers engaged actively in the discussions, reflecting on how the principles of acceptance could help them foster inclusivity and resilience in their classrooms. Several participants shared that the workshop gave them fresh ways of thinking about student–teacher relationships and tools to manage challenges more calmly and constructively. Others noted that the program was not just theoretical but also highly relevant to their daily teaching practices.
The session concluded with a sense of enthusiasm and renewed commitment among the faculty to bring Svikarokti values into their teaching. Many teachers expressed gratitude to GBLO and Greenvale Academy for making the workshop possible, describing it as a timely and inspiring initiative.
This workshop marked another meaningful step in sharing the message of Svikarokti with schools and communities, showing how even small moments of reflection can lead to lasting change
